Ways to Earn
There are several ways to earn Swag Bucks- the easiest way is for your regular internet searches. Sometimes you will not earn anything for your search and other times you will earn Swag Bucks. It is random.

Swag Bucks Tool Bar
I highly recommend that you download and use the Free Swag Bucks Tool Bar, otherwise you will have to return to the Swag Bucks Home Page every time you want to do a search that could earn you Swag Bucks (which will get tedious). Once you download the tool bar, it will be conveniently located below your address bar for easy access.

Another bonus to adding the Swag Bucks Tool Bar is the Swag Codes released on the tool bar from time to time. These codes are time sensitive. Once you find the code, just copy the code and go to the Swag Bucks Home Page. Then paste the code in to the box that says "Swag Code" then hit the "GIMME" button.

Now that Christmas is over and the New Year is here, why not sign up for SwagBucks and start preparing for Christmas 2011? I started using Swagbucks frequently in April or May 2010, and I was able to earn $90 at Amazon.com by December. Swagbucks.com is a "search & win" site, and Swagbucks (SB) are the currency they use that allows you trade for real money at numerous locations.

If you aren’t already a member?
1. Join HERE (you'll get 30 swagbucks just for registering).
2. Search on Swagbucks (just as you would Google) throughout the day and earn SB. The amount varies, but if you search 5 to 10 times a day, you could earn 20+ SB daily. You won't be rewarded for every search, but you'll win every once in awhile with no rhyme or reason. There are sponsored ads in the Swagbucks results (instead of on the side of the screen like with Google), so you can avoid those results and just click the ones that you find helpful.
3. Take the Daily Poll each day and earn 1 swagbuck = 30 SB a month.
4. Check to see if you have any trusted surveys each day and earn 1 swagbuck just for checking. You don't have to do the surveys, but if you do, you'll earn more SB. There's another 30 SB per month.
5. Click through the Swagbucks Special Offers each day (you don’t need to do any of them - just scroll to the bottom and hit NEXT) and earn 1 SB= 30 SBa month.
6. Install the toolbar, each day you will wake up to 1 SB for having the toolbar = 30 SB a month.
7. Enter bonus codes which can be found on their blog, facebook page, twitter page, and widget. I would say you can get at least 20 SB a week from codes.

You should be able to easily earn 500 SB per month (without doing surveys) which can be cashed in for 1 $5 Amazon gift cards (450 SBs) or a $5 paypal payment (with SB left over). Or you could save up and get a gift card to practically anywhere. I always opt for the Amazon cards, which come in an email as a code. Then I bank the codes with Amazon and watch the amount grow through the year. I've already earned $10 in December at Amazon. :) This is just another easy way to collect small amounts of money that do add up after awhile, and you don't have to go too far out of your way.
