Am I the only one who didn't know that you could buy wool roving? I've never tried needle-felting because I didn't want to mess with trying to shrink it down and all that. Well...voila. It turns out, you can buy it already "shrunken" just about everywhere. Hmmm. I guess I'm behind the times, huh? I saw it here. Now I'm trying to figure out just when I would have time to felt something fabulous.
I've been wasting so much time. I'm addicted to this game called Big Kahuna Reef. They had it available for free on Amazon, plus you got a free $5 worth of MP3 downloads. Now I can't stop. It's even taken the place of Farmville on FB.
I read this book to Evie last night called Sparrow Girl. I just thought the cover looked pretty. It was a serious book about a real event I had never heard of called the Great Sparrow Campaign. The book really highlighted that (1) what the "leader" says isn't always right, (2) the importance of balance in the environment, and (3) how intricately God has woven everything to work together. Anyway...good read with lots to talk about after.
I better get to bed. I finally turned the game off. :)
